2024 was an exciting year for Bluestem Group as we attended eight major trade show events across England, connecting with industry leaders, retailers, and the general public. As the proud manufacturers of our brands Igenix, Statesman and Ewbank and distributors of partner brands such as De’Longhi, Kenwood, Braun, and Ariete, these events allow us to showcase our fantastic range of products.
Each trade show was a unique opportunity for us to engage with customers, introduce new products, and offer live demonstrations, helping us strengthen relationships and expand our presence in the market.
Spring Fair, NEC
The first show of 2024 was the Spring Fair, held from February 4th to 7th at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. We kicked off the year with the largest trade show of the season, where our entire Sales Team attended to debut our new partner brands – De’Longhi, Kenwood, and Braun. We were also excited to unveil a brand-new stand design, a project our Marketing team worked hard on leading up to the event.
INDX, February
From February 20th to 21st, we attended INDX at Cranmore Park in the West Midlands. This event was particularly exciting as it was the first time it was open to the public, whereas previously, only members of the AIS Buying Group could attend.
Andy Wilson, Carole Anne Wilson, and Rob Marsh from Bluestem Group’s Sales Team did a fantastic job representing us at the show. It was also the first time Michael from De’Longhi attended to demonstrate coffee machines and hand out free samples, which proved to be a big hit.
Home Hardware, Westpoint Exeter
The Home Hardware show took place on March 5th and lasted for just one day. It was our first time attending, and the Marketing Team enjoyed getting creative with the stand design. Due to the smaller stand size, we had to be selective about which products to showcase and how to arrange them.
NMBS, Coventry Building Society Arena
Another first for us this year was the NMBS Exhibition. Rob, Carole Anne, and Katie Clark attended this show for Bluestem Group and had a wonderful time connecting with everyone and discussing our services.
With the compact space, our Marketing Team was able to experiment with pop-up banners and a small, curated collection of products to showcase our brands.
Euronics, NEC
Euronics was the second-largest show we attended this year, held from the 21st to the 22nd of April. It took place at the NEC in Birmingham, and the whole team attended this one to ensure we could chat with everyone who came up to the stand.
This was an exciting show with a wide range of products on display. Plus, Michael returned to serve De’Longhi coffee and demonstrate how the coffee machines work.
Exclusively Electrical, Business Design Centre
From June 11th to 12th, we attended Exclusively Electrical at the Business Design Centre in London. This show is open to both retailers and the general public, so we had the opportunity to showcase our products to a large audience.
Michael returned to serve De’Longhi coffee and chat with attendees about the models on display. Colin Bence and Simon Beacom had a great time meeting with both new and existing customers to discuss our product range. A bonus this year was the cooler weather, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the show.
INDX, September
Andy, Carole Anne, and Rob attended INDX for a second time from September 10th to 11th at Cranmore Park, Solihull. Michael also joined us to engage with attendees and serve delicious De’Longhi coffee.
We showcased our home brands, Igenix, Statesman, and Ewbank, alongside an exciting range of products from our partner brands, De’Longhi, Kenwood, Braun, and Ariete. Statesman’s Electric Pizza Oven [SKPO0E13B] and Ewbank’s AIRWAND Handheld Vacuum Cleaner [EWVC0602] made their INDX debut, along with Ariete’s stylish Capri and Positano breakfast ranges.
Sirius, Marshall Arena
To wrap up the year, our Sales Team had a fantastic time at the Sirius Trade Show, held at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes on September 15th and 16th. We were also thrilled to take home the Supplier of the Year award for Statesman at the Sirius Buying Group Gala Dinner.
Michael from De’Longhi joined us to provide live product demos and share samples, while our Statesman Beer Dispenser kept everyone refreshed with some great drinks! For the first time at the Sirius show, we featured our partner brands De’Longhi, Kenwood, and Braun, covering a wide range of categories such as coffee machines, food preparation, linen care, and breakfast essentials.
Additionally, Statesman debuted its 3kg Tumble Dryer [TD03VFW], while Ewbank showcased new products, including the AIRWAND [EWVC0602] and HYDROSPOT [EWUCS0125].
